Gateway® cloning technology is a universal platform that enables you to shuttle your gene of interest (GOI) into as many expression and functional analysis systems as you‘d like. Orientation and reading frame are maintained with high efficiencies (typically >99%), effectively eliminating the need for secondary sequencing or subcloning after the initial entry clone is made. Gateway® cloning technology also allows you to clone hundreds, or even thousands, of genes at the same time for high-throughput purposes.
